As Seen On TV

This year saw us sponsor a Blue Heritage Plaque for future visitors of Blackpool to enjoy for many years to come. The storyline still receives much attention and has been voted number 1 of the most watched death of a fictional character along with the fourth most watched TV event ever,

The official unveiling took place 20 years to the very day the episode was broadcast and we were honored that Mark Eden, who played Alan Bradley, along with his wife Sue Nichols, who currently plays Audrey Roberts in the soap, agreed to perform the unveiling. The event received excellent coverage from the media including Granada Reports, the national and local press. This gave us an ideal opportunity not only to promote Blackpool but to raise funds for Donnas Dream House with a Charity Lunch and an afternoon of entertainment attended by The Mayor, Mayoress, Town Crier, visitors and locals resulting in over £1000 raised.
