Here at The Strand Hotel we are keen to support and encourage charitable ventures that are important to us. Below are details of charities which we feel strongly about;

DONNAS DREAM HOUSE 

The Donna’s Dream House Charity in Blackpool is a locally based trust providing free holiday experiences for children and teenagers with life-threatening illnesses and their families, and for recently bereaved siblings and their families.

Whilst the voluntary team of Donna’s Dream House provides the expertise, enthusiasm and administration, it is the generosity of many companies, organisations and individuals in raising and donating money, that makes it possible to bring not only sunshine and fun into children’s lives, but a sense of wonder, adventure, laughter and much needed holidays in Blackpool for the whole family.

RNLI

The RNLI are volunteers across the UK and Republic of Ireland united by selflessness, skill and courage employing specialist staff, from engineers to trainers, to support its lifesavers and keep costs down.

The RNLI's lifeboat crews are mostly volunteers. They will drop everything to save lives in all conditions; day or night. Committed fundraisers around the UK and RoI give up their time to help keep the RNLI's lifeboats afloat.

The RNLI is an independent charity, funded by voluntary donations. They could not save lives at sea without the public’s support.
