On arrival, our guests with dogs will be offered a complimentary bag with disposable scented bags and a selection of delicious dog biscuits.

Where can you and your Dog Go at The Strand Hotel

Your dog has free access to all the public areas of the hotel except the Dining Rooms for obvious reasons. Dogs are also permitted in the bedrooms sharing with their owners. There are many walks around the hotel that are suitable for exercising and the section of beach directly opposite the hotel allows dogs. There are many miles of promenade all with regularly sited dog litter bins. The beach can be muddy so please ask to use the back entrance to the hotel. There we have a hose to shower the dog down and we can provide large towels.

During you stay you will want to explore Blackpool and the surrounding countryside and beaches. Forward planning is good and the www.dogfriendlybritain.co.uk is usually up to date and has a full list of dog-friendly beaches, gardens, restaurants, dog sitters, groomers, taxis and local vets to ensure peace of mind during your stay.

Well we have a supply of all the regular dog items and the local supply is close by if we haven't got it. If we have it then there is no charge for use.
